SANTA MONICA, Calif. — “The World of Barbie” exhibit in Santa Monica is delighting Barbie fans of all ages with its vibrant celebration of the iconic doll’s legacy.
Families are heading to the exhibit to explore Barbie’s world, which features life-size displays showcasing her heritage, accessories, and diverse range of careers.
Notably, the exhibit also emphasizes Barbie’s evolution toward inclusivity by representing dolls of different races, religions and abilities.
It also includes a series of dolls modeled after impactful women like tennis legend Billie Jean King and hair care pioneer Madam C. J. Walker.
Visitors like Crystal Lopez, who grew up with Barbie, are excited to pass on their love for the doll to the next generation.
