No. 5 Alogon (6-1) wired the field in a pair of turf sprints last year and was last seen landing the place at this distance on turf at Tampa Bay. He might work out a nice tactical trip at a hint of a price. 

No. 7 Doctor Jeff (5-2) went all the way in the Atlantic Beach Stakes at Belmont in 2021 and was up the track in his lone start last year. He showed up in the quality Brittany Russell barn this year and appears to be healthy again after two outings for his current connections. He dueled and finished third in a Belmont turf sprint as the favorite May 4, and he should impact the pace in this spot. 

No. 9 Zyradmid (3-1) ended his 2022 campaign with a strong wire-to-wire win at this course and distance, and he smartly went all the way as the favorite at Laurel Park on May 5. He should be all over the pace from the outside post. 

No. 3 Momos (5-1) is 0-for-14 on turf, but he hit the board in six of those races. He can stalk the pace and earn a share of the purse.
