FARNWORTH Social Circle remain two points clear at the top of the Bolton Cricket League following a 125-run win against Blackrod.
Jameel Stuart slammed 147 not out from 97 deliveries in Circle’s 283-4, adding almost 200 with Jake O’Byrne (36).
Blackrod’s deputy professional Thikshila made 77 in their reply.
Westhoughton are third after hitting 295-4 against Horwich, with Kamran Younas hitting 115 from 70 balls and Matty Morris scoring 72.
Horwich reached 153-2 with Tom Billington scoring 79, but ended 28 runs adrift as Agha Salman took 4-69.
There was a century opening partnership between Joe Settle (82) and Chris Baxendale (54), plus a half-century for Nakash Qumar as Farnworth reached 269-8, with Shivan Perera taking 3-46 for Astley Bridge.
Perera than made 76no and Lesiba Ngoepe hit 60 as Bridge won by six wickets with six overs remaining.
James Fallows, with 44, gave Eagley a sound start, and they reached 55 for the loss of one wicket, but Tonge’s Dave Bath, with 4-13, and Alex Rodzoch, with 3-35, helped dismiss them for 110.
Despite 3-37 for Harvey Seigne, Tonge ran out winners by five wickets.
Nipun Gaikwad’s 55 accounted for more than half Little Lever’s runs as they ended 106 all out, Asad Afridi taking 7-17 for Little Hulton.
Hulton found themselves 61-5, but Salman Younis steered them to victory with 32 not out.
In the closest match of the day, Akbar ur Rehman struck 141 not out for Lostock as they totalled 230-6.
Zain Abbas hit 76 as Atherton reached 131 for the loss of one wicket, but Rehman took 3-59 and James Evans 4-52 as Atherton finished four runs short.
Mustafa Bashir (4-30) and three wickets each for Junaid Farooq and Harry Morgan helped dismiss Kearsley for 138.
Walkden then overtook this for the loss of five wickets, three of these to Dave Mather, as Adnan Mufti made a half-century.
On Sunday, in the Royal London National Knockout, Denton West made 176 including a 46-run last-wicket partnership.
Rob Brown took 3-31 for Westhoughton who then overtook the total for the loss of four wickets with more than 10 of their 40 overs remaining, Agha Salman hitting 60no.
Dalton’s 66 against Walkden included 28 extras, with Mustafa Bashir taking 4-18 and Junaid Farooq bagging 4-23.
Walkden were in trouble at 50-6 but then passed the score without losing another wicket.
Liam Gray struck 146 out of Northern’s 277-6 before Joe Settle’s 40 helped Farnworth to 76-1, but they were bowled out for 139.
