March Madness continues into the last weekend in March with the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight. The match-ups and betting lines are set along with updated odds to win the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
Opening round college basketball games saw record March Madness wagering by tens of millions of fans. A majority of them saw their brackets get busted when No. 1 Purdue and No. 2 Arizona lost in major upsets in the opening round. Then No. 1 Kansas was next to fall in the Round of 32 along with No. 2 Marquette.
No. 16 seed Fairleigh Dickinson was the biggest point spread upset in NCAA Tournament history since the field expanded to 64 teams in 1985, and just the second No. 16 seed to every knock off No. 1. While FDU was game in their Round of 32 defeat to Florida Atlantic, it’s now No. 15 Princeton in the South Region as the Cinderella story. The Tigers from the Ivy League are just the fourth No. 15 seed to every advance to the Sweet Sixteen after taking down No. 2 Arizona and No. 7 Missouri.
No. 9 Florida Atlantic in the East Region and No. 9 Arkansas in the West Region join Princeton in the Sweet Sixteen. And so does the only Big Ten team remaining in No. 7 Michigan State after the Spartans took out No. 2 Marquette.
The non-power programs are making their mark in the 2023 NCAA Tournament with five teams into the Sweet Sixteen.
Basketball odds and futures refresh periodically and are subject to change. That includes on props and live betting, which is most popular during March Madness.

If you’re still betting futures and odds of teams to win the NCAA Tournament, here is another stat profile from VSIN – 19 of the last 20 National Champions have finished in the Top 20 in Ken Pom’s offensive and defensive adjusted efficiency rankings.
Houston, UCLA, Alabama, UConn and Texas fit that profile with Creighton just missing. You’re 2023 NCAA Tournament and national champion is most likely in that group.
