You get the picture, right? The chances of a new champion being crowned in Qatar are slim at best.

Naturally, the five-time champions have competed in their fair share of semi-finals over the years. Not only have they reached four of the last six World Cup semi-finals, but they have also reached 11 of the previous 18.
The Brazilians dominate the South American World Cup qualifying group along with Argentina. But they took their dominance to another level this time around.
Tite’s men enjoyed an unbeaten qualification campaign for the 2022 World Cup, notching 14 wins and three draws. They also scored 40 goals along the way (2.4 goals per game) while conceding just five times.
Brazil’s squad is stacked with world-class players, including Neymar, Fabinho, and Vinicius Junior (more on him later). So, backing the Brazilians to reach the semi-finals is one of the best FIFA World Cup props for 2022.
The next of my prop bets for the 2022 World Cup may surprise a few people.
According to the current FIFA World Rankings, Belgium is the second-best team on the planet. But despite boasting a host of big-name stars, Belgium has gained a reputation as a perennial underachiever.
There is a sense that Belgium’s so-called “golden generation” is coming to an end. With key players such as Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Axel Witsel, and Dries Mertens aged between 33 and 35, the Red Devils are not the force they once were.
You can get odds of -120 for the Belgians to pick up over 6.5 points during the group stage, meaning they would have to claim at least two wins and one draw. In my eyes, though, the price for under 6.5 points offers far greater value.
Belgium will face Croatia, Canada, and Morocco in Group F. Croatia was the runner-up at the 2018 World Cup, while Canada and Morocco are no pushovers. For that reason, I expect Belgium to register under 6.5 points.
As I already mentioned, England is among the bookies’ favorites to go all the way in Qatar. Picking the winner of the World Cup is never easy. By contrast, backing a team to reach the final is much more straightforward.
In Group B, England will come up against the United States, Iran, and Wales. The Three Lions are expected to win their group with ease, meaning they should face the runner-up of Group A in the round of 16.
Group A contains the Netherlands, Qatar, Ecuador, and Senegal. Gareth Southgate’s men are more than capable of beating any of those teams, so I can see them reaching the latter stages without any real problems.
If Adam Haynes’ predictions for England’s World Cup team are anything to go by, Southgate’s side will be one of the strongest teams in Qatar. That means the Three Lions could easily emulate their run to last summer’s European Championship final.

Although the Red and Whites will face France in Group D, Australia and Tunisia shouldn’t cause them too many problems. Reaching the knockout phase shouldn’t be an issue, but I can see them going one better.
In my opinion, backing Denmark to reach the quarter-finals is one of the best 2022 World Cup prop bets available at the moment. With Christian Eriksen, Andreas Christensen, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in their ranks, the Danes are certainly strong enough to reach the last eight.
